Fake Friends?
What are friends to you? To me, they are these awesome people that stay with me through thick and thin. The people that actually understand me, who are able to have a conversation on the phone without having the awkward silence. People whom we have never ending things to tell. People who comfort you when you are down, when you feel terrible. They are the ones who actually know what you are thinking, who help you when you are in the face of adversity. These are those great people that make up your life.
However, some people treat friends like their playmates. yes, PLAY MATES period. They think of them like people they hang out with, talk with for entertainment, joke around. But really, is there actually any feeling at all? Is there the true bond? No. No, there isn't.
If I were to tell this group of 'playmates' to split up, no feelings would be felt. Nada.
True friends, whether best or not. will be friendships that last a lifetime. It's like marriage between two people, just not that kind of love for each other. its friendship love. This bond isn't easily broken and therefore, treasured by many. It's hard to find these kind of people. People who actually tell you your flaws right in the face.
I know, you'd probably be thinking :why is joey so naggy today blah blah blah. I don't know. it's just i finally knew what real friends were. and i wanted to share it with people :D

Dell Studio Hybrid
Well, I was tech searching again (It's my hobby!) as I was looking for my desktops-to-be because my current desktop seriously needs an upgrade. Saw this :
It's a STUDIO HYBRID! A name for a ENVIRONMENTALY FRIENDLY puny(tiny) CPU! It's so cool okay! comes in a few cool colours(I LOVE THE RED!). and it's so tiny! i am actually able to fit it in my bag! hahaha.
Anywho, It uses 70, yes 70% lesser electribity than a normal desktop. Imagine the amount of money you can save with the increasing power prices.
HEH. Prices wise, S$1499(plus 19" Screen, wireless mouse and keyboard)? umm, the money you save on the electricity bills will pay for it over time :D So actually quite worth it. Beats paying the electricity bills for a typical desktop every single month until it spoils (:
It has all the basics: good processor (i think so :/),CD writable drive (can be blu-ray if you change it and its the slot in kind! like mac), USB ports, Multi card reader slots, up to 4GB ram, 320GB ATA (no idea what ATA is) hard disk space, can even have a built in wireless networking ermm... thing :/. Does not have a SATA port though, from what i see in the review. I have NO idea what that is for anyway.
But i want to wait for Windows 7 (Vista Service Pack 2, i think)D: but Vista is good enough ... right?

Environmentally Friendly CELEBS!
HELLO!(:
I realised that i was TOO formal in my previous post, i guess it comes with the new blog first post thing? And when i read it again, I found it kinda weird. Anywayyyy.
I went to a CD shop on wednesday and saw the JONAS BROTHER'S (A Little Bit Longer) and JACK JOHNSON'S (Sleep Through the Static) new CDs. Both didn't have any plastic casing, it was the cardboard one instead.
Well, as you know many CDs are all in plastic, but theirs in cardboard. why? They are SAVING THE EARTH! Less plastic means less air pollution when it is being incinerated (I know all this, is all due to PBL. Thanks mann) , though i have no idea why would you want to throw away a CD casing.
I think the Jonas Brothers' one said:
"Made with recycled material" at the back
I'm not too sure though.
real environmental friendly :D
I turned the Jack Johnson CD over and the bottom read :
"100% solar energy recorded"
Sad to say the Jonas Brothers' one didn't have that. Anyway, great isn't it! using solar energy to record instead of using the depleting resource of fossil fuels/oil. :D
I think all the PBL environmental research has got me to this state o.o Bad bad bad PBL D:

911
I suggest you read it before continuing.
It was a fanfiction about losing a loved one because of the 911 incident. Sent to the army without any choice and coming home after the long years there. You can feel the sadness Bella felt when Edward told her he was going to the army to serve the country and the joy when Edward wrote back, telling her that he would be coming home, finally. However, that never came true.
Sometimes I wonder, why do terrorist terrorize people? Is it their hobby or something? Without all this violence, the world will not lose so many innocent lives. The world would be a better place to live in(: Have they felt the feelings of losing someone close to you? Although I myself have no experienced it before(and don't plan to), I can tell that it is terrible.
My Uncle's (whom I am not so close to) funeral. My aunt (my uncle's wife) smiled at me when i was there before the rituals began. I was shocked as she was still so strong after losing her husband. well, little did I know that was a calm façade. Right after relatives of my uncle walked around his coffin, my aunt burst into tears. you can see the pain she felt. That's how it feels.
And how about the false hope Bella felt. It's like telling you that you won the million dollar lottery. On the way to claim the prize you found out that you missed it by a number. It's like telling you that you were the top student for your studies, then to find out that you were the last. It's terrible.
Just imagine the turmoil the people were in, the terror, the fear and last but not least, the grief. It's like having a miniature world war 2 all over again o.o
Let's just hope things will change, for the better :D
